Welcome to our Cause

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to learn more about who we are and the cause we serve.

According to recent survey conducted by Standard and Poor’s only 57% of adults in the United States are financially literate and while a majority of parents say they are responsible for teaching their children basic money concepts, 31% say they never talk to their children about this topic.
WIGUCA understands that financial literacy skills can be a path toward empowerment when learned early in life. A Child exposed to such teachings are more likely to become independently equipped to manage their financial needs as they grow into adults. We are committed to bringing about an awareness that financial literacy can no longer be overlooked and that full-on education strategies in financial literacy must become ubiquitous and the norm.
